The
Systems Technician must be reliable, a team player, and understand the importance of good communication and documentation. This position will provide excellent desktop support to our onsite and remote users. The Systems Technician will handle the day-to-day maintenance of our existing systems, equipment, and devices, follow instructions by
senior team members and must have experience troubleshooting Windows 11, Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory and general computer hardware issues. General knowledge of Windows servers and wired and wireless networking is a plus.
To succeed in this role, the Systems Technician must be able to adjust priorities quickly, multitask, organize, and quickly leverage available resources to resolve issues.
This is a Temporary role, with the potential to convert to a direct hire after 4-5 months.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to provide white glove IT assistance for equipment failures and service issues for all users within a timely manner (as established by the Service Level Agreement Times)
- Log time and problem resolutions into the ticketing system in a timely manner. Fully document problems and resolutions in the ticket for historical purposes, preferably before starting new tickets
- Follow-up on tickets in a timely manner, communicate with users so they are informed about the status of their tickets or to ensure service has been restored and the ticket can be closed
- Troubleshoot general computer hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot Windows 11, Office 365, printer, VoIP phone and general network issues
- Troubleshoot general connectivity, wired, wireless, and VPN issues
- Set up new user active directory accounts, email, and phone
- Set up new laptop and desktop stations as well as perform maintenance on existing equipment
- Perform Windows and application updates
- Perform server and network maintenance tasks
- Maintain IT assets, maintain inventory, and perform regular audits
- Train users on our technologies and provide technical expertise
- Create new or update existing technical documentation and notes
- Follow established documentation, procedures, and policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must hold an active CompTIA Security+ or MCSA (or equivalent) certification
- 3-6 years’ support experience
- 3-6 years’ Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory, VoIP experience
- Good knowledge of computer hardware. Ability to assemble a computer is a plus
- Microsoft Windows or cybersecurity certificate a plus
- Basic knowledge of M365/Entra ID and Active Directory administration
- Proficient in administering and supporting SharePoint environments
- Good knowledge of networking concepts (VLAN segmentation, DNS, IP address)
- Team player, proactive, organized, reliable, and self-motivated

- Demonstrates a strong security-first mindset in daily operations
- Available for planned support and emergencies outside normal business hours
- US Citizenship is required

Pay Range:
$31.00-$38.00/hour
However, base salary for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
