MJ is looking for someone to join our team as the
IT Support Technician. This role will provide support and coordination of McFarland Johnson's Information Technology needs. This position is responsible for installing and making repairs and upgrades to hardware and software systems and provides technical advice and support to network users.

Key Responsibilities
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
- Install and maintain various software packages.
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements.
- Provide telephone, in-person, and online support and training to end-users.
- Create clearly written how to documents and user guides.
- Provide updates, status, and completion information to managers and/or users, via helpdesk request system, voicemail, email, or in-person communication.
- Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- An Associates degree in Information or Computer Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting PC hardware/peripherals, various software packages including Microsoft office suite.
- Ability to maintain AutoCAD, MicroStation, and familiarity with Citrix and VMWare environments is highly desirable.
- Must display exceptional customer service orientation as well as the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
- Must possess a valid US drivers license in good standing and be able to travel to various offices for in-person support as needed.
- Ability to occasionally work after hours for maintenance and repairs.
