Duration: 15 months
Location: Albany, NY - 50% Onsite
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Tester
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience: in quality assurance managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization.
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience reporting and presenting to stakeholders and senior management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience developing test plans, test cases, tracking defects and developing automated tests.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience leading and managing functional test planning and test execution activities.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience with automated testing using tools such as Selenium or Katalon Studio.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience using Jira, and Xray Test Management, or similar tools as the test management and defect tracking tools.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of work experience in java scripting or related programing languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions.
- Three (3) to five (5) years work experience creating reports and dashboards for test metrics using Jira or other tools.
- More than two (2) years of work experience in quality assurance of projects related to Child Support applications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Working for the QA Lead, the Tester Level 2 will:
- Demonstrate good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in Daily stand-up meetings/Iteration Planning/Backlog refinement sessions and provide inputs as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience developing and executing Automated framework and test
- scripts.
- Develop Testing artifacts (Sprint/Iteration level Workstream/Project level Test plans, Test scenarios, Test cases, Test scripts).
- Perform test execution following the standards and guidelines established by the project. - Log defects and track resolution following the IES Defect Management process.
- ssist with and coordinate Iteration review sessions (demo), Exploratory Testing and User Acceptance Testing with Business users.
- Coordinate and Assist with Performance testing, Vulnerability / Security testing and other non-functional testing activities.
- Establish schedules and estimates and adhere to Iteration timelines.
- Report project activities to management, including progress, risks, mitigations, issues, resolutions, successes, and lessons learned.
- Understand and adhere to project timelines and priorities.
