The Manager of Charitable and Community Programs is responsible for leading strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand growth, guest engagement, and restaurant performance. This role oversees the planning, execution, and measurement of regional charitable programs—most notably Smile Cookie, and Camp Day, along with other community-impact initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a driven leader with an ownership mindset, exceptional project-management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate closely with restaurant owners, regional field teams, charitable partners, and cross-functional teams across the Tim Hortons organization.
This position reports to the Director, Sponsorships and Charitable Programs.
Job Description
Charitable Programs & Community Impact
· Lead the strategic planning, execution, and post-analysis of major charitable programs that raised over $50M in 2025.
o Smile Cookie, Camp Day, Special Olympics, Holiday Smile Cookie, Orange Donut
· Support the regional marketing field team, restaurant owners and charitable partners with tools, communication, and best practices to maximize fundraising participation and impact.
· Lead IMC campaign briefs and partner asset approvals
· Build consensus from internal cross functional teams on strategic plans and execution
· Research and conduct due diligence to discover new opportunities to help strengthen and optimize existing core charitable programs or enter new ones.
· Build strong relationships with Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and other charitable partners to ensure effective program alignment and storytelling.
Project & Budget Management
· Create clear, informative, yet brief communication templates and action plans for the regional field team, restaurant owners and charitable partners.
· Lead all Monday.com project management tool boards to ensure excellence in program execution
· Oversee planning, budgets, and spending forecasts for charitable program campaigns
· Manage timelines, milestones, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure flawless campaign execution
· Build sales, and donation trackers to provide real-time updates on program performance, and continuous improvement
· Build presentations that combine data-driven business cases with compelling visual storytelling to align leadership, field teams, and restaurant owners
· Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate and timely post Charitable Program reporting and reconciliations.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
· 3-5+ years of marketing experience, including regional or field-based marketing responsibilities; quick-service restaurant or non-profit sector is an asset.
· Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills—comfortable influencing franchisees and senior stakeholders.
· Proven ability to manage budgets, multiple projects, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
· Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive insights and recommendations.

Position is based out of Toronto office, 5 days a week, with travel as required
