Position SummaryThe HR Business Partner provides consultation & support to assigned functional areas. Understands business needs to assess the human resources implications of various business strategies. Collaborates with cross functional groups to ensure business objectives are achieved. The role is both operational and strategic in nature and provides HR expertise in the areas of talent management, organizational design & effectiveness, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, change management, & process improvement.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic and operational HR advisor to assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Partner with leaders to assess business strategies and identify human resources implications and opportunities.
- Provide expertise in talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Advise on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a positive work environment.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, culture, and change management across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR programs and process improvements that support business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and recommend solutions for continuous improvement
- Partner with Finance & business unit to manage headcount processes
- Serve as a cultural champion responsible for creating and implementing a vision and strategy across the organization that fosters a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace culture. Champion initiatives that promote a respectful and supportive work environment for all employees.

Education & Experience - Generally requires a minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
- Experience creating scalable and innovative solutions in Life Sciences highly preferred.
