Job Summary
4-8 yrs of understanding on architecture of Chef server/client.
Cloud automation experience with Chef and Ruby programming.
Developing cookbooks/recipes for app deployments/configuration and environment provisioning.
Experience with using local chef environment using chefdk,test kitchen,vagrant and virtual box.
Experience with Design,develop,test,deploy of automation code for cloud infrastructure and related service(Cloud Front,Cloud formation,EC2,S3,RDS,VPC etc)
Develop fully automated deployment process using Opscode Chef and scripts.
Experience with cloud provider SDKs or CLIs(Amazon AWS,public cloud provider) with basic job configuration and administration in Jenkins.
Experience in configuring checks and handlers using sensu monitoring tool and using git version control tool and github.
Understanding of Linux OS and general admin and application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience on Microsoft PowerShell scripting(Ant,Unix Shell,Python) and working with REST or Soap APIs
