Job Summary
The Jr. Network Administrator will ensure the stable operation of the enterprise computer network and implement and/or facilitate the initiatives of Chief Information Officer.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network hardware, software and communication links
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades and repairs
- Develop, implement, and maintain the policies and procedures for network resource administration and disaster recovery
- Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services
- Will have duties for audio/visual for classrooms support
- Will need to be willing to alternate to 10-7pm throughout academic year to support evening classes when requested
- Be able to backup in terms of Helpdesk Tier 2 Operations.
- Implement other job duties as directed
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field; equivalent training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Network +
- Certification in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Cisco Networking experience.
- Higher Education Experience
