IT Service Desk Analyst Tier II- 100% onsite in Birmingham, AL
SYSTEMTEC is seeking professional IT Service Desk Analyst Tier II candidates for a Direct Hire/Full Time Employment opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama.
This position will be fully ONSITE in Birmingham, AL.
Required Qualifications of the IT Service Desk Analyst Tier II:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 4-6 years of qualified, hands-on technical support experience.
- Expertise with applying OS images and installation of software.
- Extensive experience with software/hardware troubleshooting, printer support, imaging, etc.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Expert troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve simple technical issues
Responsibilities of the IT Service Desk Analyst Tier II:
- Conduct white-glove service for onsite visits and remote troubleshooting for desktop systems, including software installation and upgrades, hardware setup (computers, docking stations, printers, etc.), and configuration of systems and applications.
- Apply creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills, leveraging advanced expertise in PCs, mobile devices, hardware, software configurations, operating systems, and Incident Management to resolve complex technical issues and support implementations.
- Responds to incoming Service Desk requests via phone, email, and chat, ensuring courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
Work Location: Fully onsite in Birmingham, AL
