💻 Level 2 Service Technician – IT Support (Hybrid | Ventura or Los Angeles Area)

🚀 We’re looking for a Level 2 Service Technician to join a fast-growing, client-focused IT team. This role blends onsite support, remote troubleshooting, and client relationship management, offering the perfect mix of technical depth and human connection. You’ll support multiple clients across the Ventura or Los Angeles territory, tackling complex challenges, improving systems, and building real partnerships that make a difference.
🌟 What You’ll Do:
- Be the trusted IT partner for local clients — both onsite and remote.
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Resolve 8–12 support tickets per day while keeping documentation sharp and thorough.
- Collaborate and escalate effectively with senior engineers when needed.
- Educate clients on best practices and help them get the most from their IT investment.
- Participate in infrastructure projects and proactive system improvements.
- Deliver solutions that align with both short-term fixes and long-term IT strategy.
💼 What We’re Looking For:
✅ 3+ years of IT support or customer service experience (MSP or multi-client preferred).
✅ Experience supporting environments of 30+ users.
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows & macOS.
✅ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory.
✅ Excellent communication and documentation habits.
✅ Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (this role involves travel within territory).
✅ Willingness to obtain CompTIA Security+ within one year (we’ll cover training & exam!).
✅ Interest or experience with AI tools (like ChatGPT) is a plus! 🤖
💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Network configuration (routers, firewalls, switches) 🌐
- Azure, SharePoint, Hyper-V, or VMware experience
- Linux knowledge or scripting (PowerShell) 🧠
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
🎓 Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
- CompTIA Security+ required (within one year, company reimburses certification).
- Extra certifications in cybersecurity are a big plus.
💰 Compensation & Perks:
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard 8-hour shifts
- Hybrid setup: Mix of remote and onsite work (travel within ~1–1.5 hrs)
