What’s the role
VP-ship of one of the largest and most complex External Relations’ portfolios. Business Agenda and external environment in which the business or market sits presents the highest complexity of stakeholder landscape (i.e. political, NGO, external environment, perception of industry, business growth / divestment agenda, etc.) to build and improve organisational capability and to translate business strategy to Reputation Strategy.
Works globally across businesses, functional areas and expertise areas.
Manages diverse and complex stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, with particular exposure to EC members.
Quality of advice will strongly influence decision making processes and current and future business performance.
Manages the relation with a large variety of (groups of) stakeholders (internally and externally) on strategic level and manages opposite interests.
Work activities have a critical impact on assigned business area and indirect impact on other geographies or business areas.
Translates complex business challenges (immediate and longer term) and ensures application of the right instruments to create solutions. Looks externally to improve existing approaches, define new approaches, and identify new opportunities previously not considered.
Strategic leader or leader of community. Leads activities which are predominantly new and innovative in nature.
