WalterLane is pleased to be leading the search for an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a private firm in Arlington, VA. This is a unique and interesting opportunity to work closely with the CEO of this 15 person Family Office which supports an Ultra-High Net Worth family. The office manages the corporate, administrative, operational, investment, and charitable activities; the firm acquires, owns, and operates a portfolio of businesses in the U.S. with 6000+ employees.

In this role as the CEO's business partner, you will be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including VIPs from all realms - leading corporate CEO's, foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, senior officials and others. You will also prepare briefing materials, manage travel logistics, oversee information flow, coordinate events, and handle vendor relationships and special projects.
The ability to be a positive gatekeeper and effectively manage the activities of the CEO's office with grace, diplomacy, and efficiency is key in being successful here. He is engaging, communicative, smart, and genuinely appreciates his team.
Salary 100 - 120K plus annual bonus and comprehensive benefits, office offers a stunning panoramic view of DC. Position is full time in the Arlington office, one block from metro.
About You:
- MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years executive assistant experience supporting C-Suite executives
- You are a master at calendar management

- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of Apple MACs
Responsibilities Include:
- Extensive and detailed calendar management and scheduling
- Arrange travel logistics for CEO
- Gatekeeper! Communicate on behalf of CEO to internal staff and external stakeholders
- Work with the business leadership, family's personal assistants and the investment team
- Preparation and research of briefing materials and presentations for meetings/calls
- Prepare correspondence on behalf of CEO
- Manage vendor relationships, onboard new hires, plan office events, day-to-day needs
- Coordinate board, committee and business meeting schedules and logistics
- Attend business meetings as requested by CEO, follow up on action items
- Very light personal assistant tasks that overlap with business
- Participate in various projects
