Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Systems Analyst (Tier 2 Technician) who thrives on solving complex problems and mentoring others in a collaborative MSP environment.
The Opportunity
As a Tier 2 Technician, you’ll be the technical backbone of our service delivery team, resolving escalated issues that exceed Tier 1 scope, from advanced Microsoft 365 and Azure troubleshooting to Fortigate firewall management and hybrid cloud connectivity. You’ll play a key role bridging frontline support and engineering while guiding junior technicians to success.
What You’ll Do
- Resolve 5–10 advanced tickets daily across Azure, M365, Windows Server, and networking.
- Handle infrastructure escalations involving Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using tools like Blackpoint MDR, ThreatLocker, and Sophos.
- Create documentation and automation scripts (PowerShell) to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor Tier 1 technicians, fostering growth and team capability.
What You Bring
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD / Intune, Windows Server, and Fortigate firewalls.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and methodical problem-solving.
- Familiarity with HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, and Hudu preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex tech into client-friendly language.
