IT Support Technician
Role Overview
The IT Support Technician will provide hands-on technical support for Airsys’ manufacturing and office operations. This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all departments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and resolve a wide range of IT issues in a fast-paced environment.
IT Support Technician Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support for users at the Airsys manufacturing facility and office.
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Administer user accounts and permissions through Microsoft Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Assist with ADP and Salesforce user access, connectivity, and system-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity problems for desktop and laptop users.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, licenses, and configurations.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party support when necessary.
- Ensure timely resolution of help desk tickets and proactive system maintenance.
- Support the setup and maintenance of meeting room A/V equipment and network printers.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk role, preferably in a manufacturing or office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Experience with Salesforce, ADP, and user account management
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking, and printer connectivity
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+, or equivalent certification
- Experience with IT asset management systems and remote support tools
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems
- Familiarity/experience with SAP and/or ADP
Work Environment & Travel
No travel required; onsite role, 5 days per week at Airsys’ manufacturing and office facility in Greer, SC.
