Sales Development Representative - Software / SaaS
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales / Business Development Representative (SDR / BDR) to join our rapidly growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about technology, and is eager to make a measurable impact on pipeline growth. You’ll be on the front lines of go-to-market efforts, engaging with prospects, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to accelerate revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our solutions, target markets, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct high-quality discovery conversations with prospects to uncover challenges, pain points, and opportunities.
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to create a seamless handoff of qualified leads and ensure alignment on territory planning.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline generation targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and opportunity data in CRM.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience as an SDR or BDR at a software / SaaS vendor.
- Comfortable with remote working.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar.
- Highly motivated, self-starter attitude with a proactive approach to learning and execution.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
- Whilst not essential, any understanding of the following technologies would be useful - Fintech, FinOps, Digital Transformation, Decision Intelligence, Service Operations, Data, Analytics, RPA, AI, ML, Back Office, Automation, Process Improvement, Customer Experience, Employee Experience, Human Capital Management, Hybrid Workforce Management, Workforce Analytics, Performance Improvement, Workload Balancing.
