The Opportunity:We are seeking an exceptional communicator and master storyteller to join our team as Internal Communications Manager. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who executes compelling narratives, simplifies complex ideas, and engages diverse audiences through clear and impactful communication.
This person will write and edit high-quality content across internal and some external channels, serving as a trusted voice for the brand, leadership, and employee community. Strong writing and editorial instincts, attention to tone and nuance, and the ability to work closely with diverse stakeholders to adapt and align messaging are essential.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Communications & Messaging- Develop consistent, engaging messaging that reflects our brand voice and corporate priorities.
- Serve as a writing and editing lead primarily for executive communications, internal announcements such as Town Halls, as well as some client-facing content, and thought leadership.
- Translate complex business topics into accessible and engaging language for various audiences.
- Ensure tone, voice, and messaging remain aligned across all communication platforms.
Internal Communications- Write, edit, and manage internal communications such as leadership announcements, employee newsletters, change management messaging, and all-staff updates.
- Partner with HR, leadership, and marketing to foster a transparent and engaged internal culture.
- Create materials for internal events and executive presentations, including talking points, speeches, and post-event communications.
Skills & Qualifications:- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills - must be able to write in a variety of formats (narrative, persuasive, executive tone) and for a range of audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in communications, editorial, or marketing communications role (B2B or professional services background a plus).
- Ability to distill complex or technical information into clear, concise messaging.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills - confident interfacing with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high bar for quality and clarity.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Tools & Experience:- Familiarity with internal communications tools (e.g., Injio, SharePoint, MS Teams).
- Knowledge of AP Style, brand editorial guidelines, or corporate tone-of-voice development.
- Experience in media relations, thought leadership, or executive visibility a plus.

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
