As an Electrical Engineer at Hayden Industrial, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures electrical reliability, safety, and efficiency to support production operations, while also driving process improvements and supporting capital projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems, control circuits, and power distribution for plant operations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues with manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify process improvements and implement automation solutions.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Work with outside contractors, vendors, and utility companies as needed.
- Provide technical training and support to maintenance staff and operators.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize energy usage.

Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and automation controls.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent).
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and other safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Supervisor Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job is based in a manufacturing environment with a combination of office and plant floor responsibilities. This role uses standard office equipment. When in the manufacturing facility, all employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include/hearing protection, and safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes.

While performing duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is an exempt position. This is a full-time position with travel between the Tulsa and Claremore locations. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
