The IT Project Manager will be
PMP certified and have
PM experience in
IT with focus on infrastructure/new facilities.
Previous experience in
IT operations a plus.
Required Skills & Experience
- Eight (8) years of experience as a project manager in IT project management
- Bachelor's degree. Preferred Education: -Master's degree.
- Required Certifications & Licensure: Active Project Management Professional (PMP). Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Resume must show experience with Artificial Intelligence.
- Demonstrates proficiency in creating detailed documentation for complex projects.
- Communicates effectively, both oral and written communications, with project staff, sponsor(s), and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates effective consensus-building skills.
- Demonstrates ability to manage advanced level projects.
- Demonstrates ability to coach other team members.
- Demonstrates ability to present project status or PMO specific initiatives to IS. -Demonstrates ability to be a trusted business partner to project sponsors and stakeholders.
Job Summary
- Creates, coordinates, and manages advanced level projects, including organization-wide system implementations or upgrades.
- Exhibits advanced proficiency in Client's project management methodology, tools and practices.
- Manages 8 to 15 project team members.
- Takes on leadership opportunities within the PMO.
- Acts as a mentor to new PM's and/or PM I's or II's.
- Is a champion for Client’s PMO project management methodology.
- may be involved in some leadership activities.
