Description
The candidates will support data exchange and data quality efforts for NYSIIS, including onboarding of providers to New York State Implementation Guide for HL7 version 2.5.1 Immunization Messages and verifying message compliance to the national ONC Meaningful Use requirements for electronic submission of immunization data.
Duties
- Maintaining and updating ACCESS programs on data exchange between NYSIIS and providers.
- Reviewing data exchanges from providers for data quality and timeliness.
- Providing technical assistance on data exchanges (HL7 messages) to enhance interoperability of NYSIIS with electronic health records used by health care practices across New York State.
- Conduct analysis required to examine compliance.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience (10+ Years)
- Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
Requirements
- This is an 100% Onsite
- 60 months experience in SQL/SQL TOAD
- 60 months experience with Excel
- 60 months experience in messaging standards (XML, X12, etc.).
- 60 months experience in HL7 messaging in support of a state immunization information system.
- 60 months experience in data quality analysis related to state immunization data.
- 60 months experience in customer support/guidance.
- Bachelor’s Degree
