About the job IT Systems Engineer (Hybrid)
Were seeking a technically strong and hands-on IT Systems professional to lead execution across our technology stack. As the primary in-house systems engineer, you'll be responsible for driving feasibility assessments, implementing solutions, and maintaining integrations across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Business Central (BC), and Power BI.
This is a lead individual contributor role-owning the how behind business strategy by validating technical feasibility, executing deployments, and ensuring systems are optimized to support organizational goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Technical Execution Across the Stack- Assess feasibility for proposed system changes and provide recommendations (build vs. buy vs. configure).
- Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions across Azure, BC, Power BI, PLM, CRM, and other SaaS platforms.
- Deploy enhancements, integrations, and configurations directly in-house where appropriate.
- Act as primary technical liaison with external vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Deploy & Maintain Business-Critical Systems- Ensure seamless integration across ERP, CRM, PLM, and other core systems.
- Lead testing, documentation, and rollout during new implementations or upgrades.
- Implement and maintain security controls (SOC, PCI, MFA, access management).
Hands-On Troubleshooting & Support- Serve as the resolver for system configuration and technical issues across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and other teams.
- Manage the ticket triage process and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
Collaboration & Communication- Coordinate with service providers on resourcing, scope, and deliverables.
- Partner with stakeholders to define data/reporting needs, building in-house solutions or guiding vendors.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and champion pragmatic improvements.
Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field (MBA a plus).
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in systems/IT leadership or lead IC capacity.
- Proven expertise with:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP)
- Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure
- Power BI development and visualization
- SaaS platforms (CRM, PLM, SCM, Finance)
- System testing, deployment, and change management
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot) in business operations.
