Job Title: Tax Admin & Compliance Assistant - $80-$130k (Drone SW for DoD)
Job Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days/week in Warrenton
Salary: $80-$130k Base + benefits and 401k

Due to growth, we are actively hiring Tax Admin & Compliance Assistant the following experience:- Winning contracts/bids with the US government (ideally the DoD) and filing the necessary tax returns
You will be our sole US hire, collaborate with a team of 6 offshore accountants, and report directly to our CFO.
You have the opportunity to take ownership of our accounting systems, processes, software, and help to build out the way we process accounting information in the United States.
This role will start as an individual contributor, and the ideal hire will have the chance to hire and manage a team.

What You Will Be Doing- Take ownership of tax returns on a Federal and State level, including use and sales tax, employer payroll withholding, and corporate income tax
- Keep accurate tax records
- Support out Group Tax Accountant on audit inquires
- Keep track of deadlines and ensure timely submissions
- Own tax correspondence for regulatory bodies and tax authorities
