Job Summary – Senior IT Support Specialist

NYC, NY

Provide first-line (Level 1) technical support for desktop and specialized banking applications (e.g., Summit, Montran) to end users.
Manage Help Desk operations, including supervising staff and overseeing ticket assignments, reviews, and analysis using KACE ticketing system.
Support Windows workstation environments (Windows 10/11) as well as Windows Server 2022.
Generate and analyze Help Desk performance reports (KPI/KRI).
Automate Helpdesk tasks and processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Helpdesk procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with and support end users to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Utilize and manage Help Desk management software (e.g., KACE, Jira, Zendesk).
Leverage strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT issues.
Communicate clearly and effectively with users and team members.
Ensure consistent, high-quality IT support in a banking environment.
