Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President/ Market Leader is responsible for leading the Company’s efforts in the local market. This includes elements of traditional Asset Management, Property Management, and Acquisitions functions. This role collaborates frequently with all Company departments and stakeholders. They must have exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills and consistently be able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines effectively while advancing Company objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Market leader for all Company real estate assets in the Denver/Boulder area.
- Leads efforts to on-board, manage, refinance and/or sell these assets.
- Oversees asset budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Responsible for execution of business plans and financial performance of assets.
- Manages leasing activities including negotiating leases with tenants.
- Supervises construction and tenant improvement projects.
- Manages a diverse team of real estate professionals who are responsible for daily asset operations.
- Directly responsible for managing relationships and deliverables associated with investment partners, lenders and other stakeholders involved in each asset.
- Writes quarterly investment updates for investors.
- Works with the Company’s Acquisitions team to source, underwrite and execute on local asset investment opportunities.
Secondary Functions:
- Supports Company President, Executive Vice President of Asset Management, and Investment Committee.
- Enhances Company’s brand, relationships and network of professionals in the local market.
- Participates in Company’s investment strategy and setting key initiatives.
Position Impact:
The Senior Vice President/ Market Leader’s decisions and actions strongly impact the Company’s revenue, reputation and customer satisfaction. This position is a critical role within the Company, as it executes asset business plans, tracks financial performance and manages expectations for all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of commercial real estate asset management and/or acquisitions experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required, MBA preferred.
- Colorado Broker license preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of financial analysis.
- Proficiency in leadership and team management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, solve complex problems and make decisions.
- Able to work well with diverse personalities.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
