Job DescriptionUX Researcher V Remote
Summary: As a UX researcher on Signal Growth, you will be an integral part of the product development process. This person will design, execute and deliver high-impact research that influences strategic and tactical product decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving people's experiences with our advertising tools. They will also need to be comfortable in a fast-moving organization, open-minded about applying a variety of research methods, and committed to high-quality and rigorous research.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the world.
- Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps.
- Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle.
- Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team.
- Deliver research insights to the team in a timely manner, document and report research insights in a digestible, easy to share format.
Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills.
- Track record of strong qualitative skills and experience with applied & user research methods.
- Mixed-methods skills (i.e., able to execute or interpret quantitative research findings) a plus!
- Experience in fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, and ability to identify problems and work toward solutions.
- Adept at managing requests from XFN teams and translating research findings into actionable product insights.
- Rich experience in project coordination and XFN relationship management.
- Extensive experience with storytelling to get traction with various audience.
Minimum Qualifications - BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics.
- Relevant experience within user experience, applied research setting and/or product research and development.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists.
- Experience executing hands-on, primary research, such as In-Depth Interviews or Focus Groups and Concept Testing or Usability Testing.
- Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives
Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degrees in a human behavior related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Experience with enterprise products, business insights, or product development.
Education: - Bachelors in human behavior related fields.
Pay range is $94 - $99 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
