We are looking for a passionate and skilled
Music Teacher to join our middle and high school faculty. This role is ideal for an educator who believes music should be accessible to all students, regardless of their experience, and who knows how to lead both a chorus and an instrumental ensemble with confidence and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging general music classes that spark curiosity and foster appreciation for music in all its forms.
- Direct vocal and instrumental ensembles, guiding students of varying levels through meaningful rehearsal and performance experiences.
- Create an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student feels valued and capable of growing musically.
- Organize concerts and school performances that reflect student progress and enrich the school community.
- Contribute to key annual school events, including the Winter Concert, the High School Musical and other community events (Spring Fair...).
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and contribute to a strong arts program.
Candidate Profile:
- A skilled musician and educator who values both excellence and accessibility.
- Comfortable working with a wide range of student abilities, from first-time performers to experienced players.
- A dedicated music educator with experience teaching adolescents and leading vocal and/or instrumental ensembles.
- Committed to inclusive student-centered teaching, with a focus on creativity, expression, and growth.
- Flexible, collaborative, and eager to be part of a supportive school community.
- Eager to help build a vibrant music culture that resonates across the school.
- Bilingual French/English is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Can arrange or compose music for student ensembles.
- Have experience with music technology or contemporary music education tools.
- Enjoy integrating music across disciplines and cultures.

Annual salary range
$73,576 - $123,417
This pay range corresponds to steps 5 and 30 of our current salary grid which is based on full-time teaching experience.
