Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Web Developer II to support the back-end integration and functionality of an AI-powered web application. The frontend has been developed; this role will focus on connecting the application to its Firestore database, enabling SSO authentication, and integrating with a Python-based API for results retrieval. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building full-stack web applications, especially within AI or data-driven environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesConnect the frontend web application to Firestore to:Store and retrieve chat historyManage and enforce user rolesImplement Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.Make and manage API calls to a Python backend to fetch dynamic results.Ensure integration points are secure, scalable, and responsive.Collaborate with front-end developers and AI/ML engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience developing AI-driven or data-intensive web applications.
Proficiency in:- React 18
- Node.js
- Firestore (Firebase)
Strong knowledge of:- Tailwind CSS
- Shadcn/UI
- Experience integrating SSO authentication protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
- A portfolio showcasing similar full-stack projects, preferably involving AI or machine learning components.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with serverless architecture using Firebase Functions or similar platforms.
- Experience working with Python APIs or ML inference systems.
- Understanding of security best practices for handling sensitive user data.
Certifications- Not required, but relevant certifications in web development or cloud technologies are a plus.
