Basic Requirements:

Security+ Certification
12 years of experience in a technical field
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 8 additional years of experience in a technical field may be substituted for a degree

Job Description:

Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switches
Update and configure antivirus software and other tools to secure the network
Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) updates to switches and follow
Software Testand Evaluation (STE) policiesDesign and plan Cisco NEXUS network infrastructure, including setup and ongoing
maintenance
Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for switch administration
Use network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds to oversee network performance

Required Experience:

CiscoNexus devices, RADIUS, SOLARWiNDS, and firewall ability required

Salary: $185,000 - $195,000 annually
