About the Position

We are a steady-paced criminal and DUI defense law firm looking for a reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented Full-Time Legal Intake Specialist. You will also learn how to manage our FB and IG ads.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, handling both administrative tasks and client-facing responsibilities. Hours are M-F 9 to 6, many days you will leave the office by 4 or 4:30 but still be assigned to answer the phones on our office cell phone until 6 PM. Fridays you will usually leave the office around 3 PM but still answer the phones until 6 PM.

This is not a clock-watchers’ job. Some tasks are routine, some are urgent, and some come up unexpectedly. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in getting things done, you’ll do well here.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Answering and returning new client calls, including after-hours and weekend calls (most under 20 minutes)

Calling clients to:

Provide case updates

Follow up on missed appointments

Address late or overdue payments

Assisting two lead paralegals with administrative and case-related tasks
Assisting 4 attorneys with case files as needed.

Data entry and file management

Filing documents at the Hall of Records / courthouse

Calling courts to verify court dates and case information

Following up with satisfied clients to request and manage Google 5-star reviews

General office support and administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS (PHONE CONFIDENCE IS A MUST)

Organized, dependable, and able to follow instructions closely

No Drama.

Comfortable dealing with sensitive client situations professionally

Willing to handle mundane tasks without complaint

Able to adapt to changing priorities

Legal assistant or law office experience preferred, but not required for the right person.
