OHANA Christmas Lights is hiring Christmas light installers for the upcoming holiday season!

We're looking for reliable, hardworking people to help install professional Christmas lighting on residential homes throughout North County San Diego, including Encinitas, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, and surrounding areas.

• Seasonal, part-time work with lots of hours available during our busy season
• Season: November 1 through approximately December 15
• Duties: Installing Christmas lights on rooflines, trees, and other exterior features
• Training and equipment provided

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
We operate seven days a week throughout November and the first two weeks of December. We're looking for people with very flexible availability who are willing to work long days and weekends during the holiday rush. Your individual schedule will be coordinated in advance; hours vary by week and workload.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Dependable: show up on time and communicate promptly if plans change
• Safety-minded: follow ladder and equipment instructions and speak up if something feels unsafe
• Careful: respect customers' homes, landscaping, and equipment
• Team-oriented: take direction, work well with others, and pay attention to details
• Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
• Must have your own reliable vehicle — having a truck is a major plus
• Able to work outdoors and handle ladders and equipment
• Willing to work long days and weekends during the busy season
• Christmas lighting, roofing, construction, or similar experience is a plus, but not required

HIRING PROCESS
We'll start with a quick phone conversation, then likely arrange a short, informal meeting at a local Starbucks before starting work.

1. What is your name, phone number, and city?
2. What type of reliable vehicle do you have? Do you have a truck?
3. When can you start, which days can you work, and what dates are you unavailable between November 1 and December 15?
4. What experience do you have with ladders, roof work, Christmas lights, or outdoor physical work? Please be honest about your comfort level with heights.
5. Give one example of a job where showing up on time and paying attention to detail mattered.
6. If we move forward, can you provide a recent work reference who can speak to your reliability?
