OC Financial Services Inc., an established tax preparation and bookkeeping firm in Fullerton, is seeking a dependable part-time QuickBooks Bookkeeping Assistant. 20-25 hrs per week

This position is ideal for someone with practical QuickBooks Online experience who is accurate, organized, comfortable working with financial records, and interested in growing with a year-round tax and bookkeeping firm.

Responsibilities
QuickBooks Clean Up
Enter and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts
Review transactions for missing or incorrect information
Assist with bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects
Organize client financial records and supporting documents
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking
Prepare basic profit-and-loss and balance-sheet reports
Support 1099 preparation and other bookkeeping projects
Communicate professionally with clients regarding missing information
Protect confidential client and financial information

Required Qualifications

At least one year of practical QuickBooks Online or bookkeeping experience
Understanding of bank reconciliations and transaction categorization
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, and cloud-based systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Dependable attendance and professional communication
Ability to handle confidential tax and financial information responsibly

Preferred Qualifications

QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
Experience working in a tax, bookkeeping, or accounting office
Experience with bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects

Spanish-English bilingual ability

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 relevant experience
Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week
