NOW HIRING – MULTIFAMILY LEASING ASSISTANT MANAGER
TAX CREDIT / LIHTC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Multi-Team Services is currently seeking an experienced Leasing Assistant Manager for a multifamily apartment community.
IMPORTANT: Previous Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience is REQUIRED. Candidates must have direct experience working at affordable housing or Tax Credit communities.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations.
Support and oversee daily leasing office activities.
Assist with training and guiding leasing team members.
Greet prospective residents and conduct apartment tours.
Follow up with prospects and help meet occupancy goals.
Review rental applications and income documentation.
Assist with Tax Credit certifications and annual recertifications.
Ensure applicant and resident files are complete and organized.
Assist with income verification and household eligibility requirements.
Ensure leasing activities follow LIHTC program guidelines.
Prepare and review lease agreements and move-in documentation.
Assist with resident relations and customer service.
Help address resident concerns and resolve issues professionally.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate leasing records.
Qualifications:
Previous multifamily leasing experience.
Previous Leasing Assistant Manager or supervisory experience preferred.
Tax Credit / LIHTC experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of affordable housing requirements.
Experience with income calculations and verifications.
Knowledge of initial certifications, annual recertifications, and compliance documentation.
Familiarity with property management software.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
