Key Skills & Responsibilities to Include:
- Body Repairs
- Welding (MIG, Stick, and/or TIG preferred)
- Trailer frame repairs
- Floor replacement and repairs
- Roof repair and replacement
- Side panel and door repairs
- Landing gear repairs
Mechanical Repairs
- Suspension repairs
- Brake system inspection and repairs
- Axle repairs and replacements
- Wheel end maintenance
- Air line and air system repairs
Electrical
- Troubleshoot and repair trailer lighting systems
- Replace wiring, connectors, and electrical components
Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections
- Identify safety issues and recommend repairs
Equipment & Tools
- Operate plasma cutters, grinders, torches, and welding equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Requirements
- Previous trailer repair experience preferred
- Welding experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Knowledge of DOT inspection requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
