Golden Castle Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic CNA to join our team! We provide health care, social, recreational, and therapeutic services to older adults in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with seniors and making a positive difference in their daily lives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist participants with activities of daily living, including grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, walking, and mobility.
Monitor participants for changes in physical condition, behavior, or mental status and report concerns to nursing staff.
Assist with group activities, recreational programs, and therapeutic exercises.
Help with breakfast and lunch meal service.
Maintain daily documentation and charting of services provided.
Assist nursing staff with gathering health information and communicating with participants, families, and caregivers.
Support participants in maintaining independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
Follow all health, safety, and center policies and procedures.
Participate in staff meetings and required training.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with older adults.
CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and team-oriented.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within the first six months (company paid).
Pre-employment health examination and TB clearance.
Ability to meet applicable California licensing and employment requirements.
POSITION DETAILS
Full time: 8:30am-2:30pm
Daytime schedule, Monday–Friday.
No evening or weekend shifts.
Supportive team environment.
Lunch provided.
LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA
