Culinary Event Producer
At JLC, we strive to create an experience for our clients that is boutique and custom. We all participate in every aspect of each event and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We collaborate and work together to create experiences that are nourishing, soulful, and beautiful.
We are in search of an ambitious and organized Culinary Event Producer to execute and lead events. This is a full time salaried position with time split between our north Berkeley production facility and on site at events throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
Our Culinary Event Producers are leaders within the kitchen team, and the company as a whole. They are responsible for helping JLC execute events and for upholding and representing our values as a company. Event producers must be creative and proactive, with an ability to create beautiful, cohesive events while remaining flexible, positive, and good natured.
Candidates must be sharp, able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, and be flexible with both clients and team members. This role requires computer literacy, knowledge of Google Suite, and strong time management skills.
This is not a 9:00 to 5:00 job. Our dynamic schedule takes us to remote and varied locations at different times and days of the week. Candidates should be able to self manage their time and workload to produce events within the specific time constraints. Depending upon the season, the Event Producer could be onsite 2 to 3 times per week.
The Event Producer will report to the Culinary Director.
