Female Respite Provider Needed (Independent Contractor)
Seeking compassionate female respite providers to support an adult female with developmental and physical disabilities in the Colorado Springs area.
This is a private-pay independent contractor opportunity providing respite coverage for a primary caregiver during time off, emergencies, appointments, and planned travel.
Ideal Candidates:
• Comfortable providing personal care, including incontinence support, changing, and hygiene assistance
• Able to assist with transfers using a ceiling-mounted Hoyer lift
• Comfortable supporting an individual who uses a power wheelchair and requires full physical assistance with mobility and transfers
• Patient, reliable, and able to provide support with daily routines in a respectful and dignified manner
• Able to follow established care plans and maintain professional boundaries
Requirements:
• Must be female
• Must meet agency qualifications and successfully complete the contractor onboarding process
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
• Experience with personal care and Hoyer lift transfers is strongly preferred
This position is ideal for CNAs, personal care providers, DSPs, host home providers, nursing students, retired healthcare professionals, or others with relevant caregiving experience.
