Interior Designer
Location: Frederick, MD (Candidates within approximately 50 miles)
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join a growing design studio. Hospitality experience is preferred, but candidates with commercial interior design backgrounds and an interest in hotel, resort, and lifestyle projects are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support hospitality interior design projects, including hotels, guestrooms, and public spaces.
- Lead prototype hospitality interior design projects.
- Prepare FF&E specifications and source furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assist with CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and design documentation.
- Support space planning, material selection, and conceptual design.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain product details, pricing, and lead times.
- Review drawings, verify specifications, and prepare finish samples and presentation materials.
- Assist with design library organization and general studio activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3–5 years of interior design experience.
- Hospitality or commercial interior design background.
- Working knowledge of CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Interest in developing hospitality design projects from concept through documentation.
