A transportation company is seeking a reliable CDL-A driver for a local night-shift position in Jurupa Valley, CA.
Work Schedule:
Start time: Approximately 3:00 PM
End time: Around 3:00 AM, occasionally extending until 5:00 AM
Schedule: Six days per week, Monday through Sunday morning, including Saturday night. Sunday night is your scheduled night off.
Job Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver trailers from warehouses and rail yards.
Most runs will involve rail-yard operations, with occasional dock-to-dock pickups and deliveries.
Operate 53-foot trailers, including dry vans and reefers, with occasional container transportation.
Pay Options:
$26 per hour + $15 per stop.
Average of 5–6 stops per day.
Truck Details:
-Automatic-transmission Volvo or Freightliner
Requirements:
-Minimum of 1 years of CDL-A driving experience.
-Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch.
-Rail experience is a plus.
-Your driving record does not need to be spotless, however, more than one preventable accident or more than two speeding tickets may be an issue. No DUI convictions within the past 3 years.
