Comfort Suites is looking for a dependable, motivated, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team!
We are seeking someone who is passionate about cleanliness, understands the importance of teamwork, and has the leadership skills to keep our housekeeping department running smoothly.
⭐ POSITION OVERVIEW
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, support and train team members, inspect guest rooms, and ensure our hotel consistently meets brand standards.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✔️ Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
✔️ Assign guest rooms and monitor employee productivity throughout the day.
✔️ Thoroughly inspect cleaned guest rooms before releasing them to the Front Desk.
✔️ Provide consistent room-status updates to Front Desk and management.
✔️ Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping employees.
✔️ Ensure stayover services and special guest requests are completed promptly.
✔️ Assist with cleaning guest rooms when necessary while maintaining supervisory responsibilities.
✔️ Identify cleaning deficiencies and ensure corrections are completed.
✔️ Coordinate deep cleaning projects.
✔️ Monitor housekeeping carts, linen inventory, cleaning supplies, and storage areas.
✔️ Report maintenance concerns and follow up on outstanding issues.
✔️ Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and onboarding new employees.
✔️ Promote teamwork, accountability, efficiency, and a positive working environment.
⭐ QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
✅ Previous hotel housekeeping experience required.
✅ Previous housekeeping supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
✅ Excellent attention to detail and understanding of hotel cleaning standards.
✅ Ability to lead, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
✅ Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
✅ Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
✅ Basic computer proficiency.
✅ Dependable, punctual, professional, and committed to excellent guest service.
✅ Ability to perform physically demanding housekeeping duties.
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
✔️ Weekend availability is REQUIRED.
✔️ Holiday availability is REQUIRED, as hotels operate year-round.
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are provided as days off!
✔️ Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work during busy periods, including weekends and other holidays.
