Clark and Sons in Pomona is looking for experienced Grade Checkers to join our team-
Job Responsibilities:
-Perform grading and excavation layout using Trimble GPS equipment.
-Verify rough finish grades for building pads, parking lots, truck courts, and site improvements.
-Read and interpret civil plans, grading plans, and construction documents.
-Maintain grade control and quality throughout construction documents.
Requirements:
-Minimum 1+ years of Grade Checking experience on commercial construction projects.
-Proficient with Trimble GPS, site calibration, and machine control systems.
-Ability to read grading plans, improvement plans, and survey data.
-Experience with commercial tilt-up, warehouse, industrial, or large site development projects preferred.
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Trimble Earthworks and Business Center software a Must.
-Experience working around concrete paving, retention systems, and mass grading operation a Must.
