Job title: Shipping Manager (Direct hire job) - Monday - Friday Day Shift
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Compensation and benefits: $28 - $32 per hour (possibly more for the right candidate) DOE plus full benefits including matching 401K plan!

The Shipping Manager will oversee the preparation and shipment of tools, equipment, and other domestic and international goods.
As the sole shipping operator within a cross-functional operations team, this role will coordinate routine bookings, monitor carrier performance, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain consistent packaging standards using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Responsibilities
Coordinate domestic and international shipments of tools, equipment, and mixed goods.
Prepare packages using appropriate materials, including boxes, plastic bags, and WD-40 oil where required.
Book routine shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other approved carriers.
Monitor carrier performance and track shipments through delivery.
Complete accurate domestic and international shipping documentation.
Generate shipping labels using Avery or similar label-printing software.
Standardize packaging practices and ensure compliance with packaging standards.
Maintain packaging materials and support inventory control for shipping supplies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in shipping and logistics.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with international shipping.
Knowledge of shipping documentation requirements.
Experience using FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
Proficiency with label-printing software.
Knowledge of packaging standards and proper packaging practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
