About The Establishment
The Establishment at Bradburn Village is a locally owned, full-service special-events venue just 20 minutes outside Denver. Our space features two ballrooms, a lounge, a boardroom/get-ready suite, an outdoor terrace framed by evergreens, and two welcoming foyers — hosting everything from weddings and corporate gatherings to non-profit galas, showers, and celebrations of every kind. Our motto says it best: Engage. Entertain. Establish.
The Role
We're looking for an Event & Operations Manager to be the heartbeat of the venue — the person who turns inquiries into booked events and booked events into flawless celebrations. This is a hands-on, player-coach role that owns the full client journey and the day-to-day operations of the building. You'll work directly with the owner, and as the business scales, you'll have the opportunity to build and lead the team beneath you.
A key part of this role is proactively generating new business. Beyond managing inbound inquiries, you'll drive outbound outreach to fill the calendar — and you'll be rewarded with commission on the bookings you bring in.
If you love hospitality, thrive on details, and take pride in making someone's big day feel effortless, this role was made for you.
What You'll Own
Lead Generation & Outreach
● Proactively generate new bookings through cold outbound outreach to schools, corporations, non-profits, and community organizations
● Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects, and consistently follow up to convert leads into booked events
● Represent the venue at networking opportunities and build referral relationships that drive repeat business
● Earn commission on bookings generated through your outreach efforts
Sales & Booking
● Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, and conduct venue tours for prospective clients
● Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts, and guide clients through booking to close
● Maintain the booking calendar and work toward occupancy and revenue goals
Event Coordination & Execution
● Lead client planning meetings and build detailed event timelines, floor plans, and run-of-show
● Serve as the on-site point person on event days, ensuring setup, service, and teardown run smoothly
● Anticipate and resolve day-of issues quickly and gracefully, keeping the client experience seamless
Facility & Operations
● Oversee the physical venue — setup and teardown, room turnovers, inventory of tables, chairs, linens, and décor, and in-house AV, etc.
● Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep so the space is always event-ready
● Track supplies and reorder as needed to keep operations running without gaps
Vendor, Bar & Catering Relationships
● Coordinate outside vendors (florists, DJs, photographers, planners, rental companies) and manage approvals and logistics
● Manage bar service operations and vendor relationships, ensuring responsible, compliant service
● Maintain and grow relationships with catering partners, and manage the preferred-caterer roster
Systems & Marketing
● Manage the client pipeline and event workflows in HoneyBook (inquiries, contracts, invoicing, communications)
● Support lightweight marketing and social media — keeping our channels active, sharing event highlights, and helping drive inquiries
`
● 2–4 years of experience in hospitality, events, or a related field
● Comfort with proactive outreach and a self-starter attitude toward generating new business
● A client-first mindset with warm, professional communication
● Exceptional organization and the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines at once
● Calm, solutions-oriented problem-solving under pressure
● Comfort with tools like HoneyBook (or a willingness to learn quickly) and general social media platforms
● Availability to work evenings and weekends around the event calendar
● Ability to be on your feet and assist with physical setup/teardown during events
Nice to Have
● Experience in a wedding or event-venue setting specifically
● A track record in sales, business development, or outbound lead generation
● Familiarity with bar/beverage service and applicable compliance (e.g., TIPS)
● Basic marketing or social-media content experience
Why Join Us
