Duties
• Supervise children during after-school programs, summer camps, and special activities to ensure safety and engagement
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques
• Assist with lesson planning, craft projects, outdoor play, and youth group activities to foster learning and fun
• Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and team members to ensure a cohesive caregiving environment
Qualifications
• Experience working with children in daycare, camp settings, or youth programs is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies
• Certification in first aid, CPR is needed upon hiring. Ongoing training encouraged
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise multiple children effectively
• Background in youth development programs is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during outdoor activities
• Excellent teamwork skills with a passion for nurturing young learners in values-based environment
