We are seeking a Barista to support a specialty coffee program, high-volume café menu, and full beverage program. This fast-paced role emphasizes efficient order production, coffee quality and consistency, and opening and closing operations, with opportunities to advance to Senior Barista.
Responsibilities
- Prepare beverages across the café’s full beverage program.
- Prepare espresso drinks with attention to quality and consistency.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
- Process orders accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle food safely and support food preparation needs.
- Clean and maintain beverage equipment.
- Complete store sanitation tasks and opening and closing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in barista operations.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Knowledge of espresso extraction and milk steaming.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to deliver polished beverage presentation.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Intermediate espresso knowledge, advanced specialty coffee skills, or formal coffee training.
