Opening for Caregiver for
my 79 yr old Mom needs and additional caregiver in our Point Loma Home.
She has moderate Alzheimer’s Dementia, 75% wheelchair, 25% walker. Feeds herself, incontinence. Remembers today.
Currently need
8 hour shift
Monday, Tuesday
9.30am-5.30.pm
20-23$ hr cash/venmo/zelle. Weekly pay
Private home, calm healthy environment, dog friendly
Duties:
Assisting with all activities of daily living, including but not limited to, dressing, bathing, showering, toileting and dining. Wheelchair rides outside to local park and market, bed to chair transfers balance - not actual lifing for transfer, just assistance for balance in transfers.
- Must speak english for client, I am bi lingual spanish
- Ideally own vehicle a positive
- Kind, caring and committed to work
- Caregiving experience 6 months +
- willing to take FirstAid course online if not already trained
- Certificates preferred Talkative is helpful as Mom is better with verbal engagement.
- Willingness to adjust to emotions of dementia clients
