Job Description
Bio-One of Orange is looking for a dependable, hands-on leader to join our team as a Lead Biohazard Technician / Crew Foreman.
We help people through some of the most difficult situations of their lives, including unattended deaths, trauma scenes, hoarding situations, rodent contamination, homeless encampments, infectious disease cleanup, and other specialty remediation projects.

This is not a typical cleaning position. We are looking for someone who can lead a crew, communicate professionally with clients, solve problems in the field, and take ownership of a project from start to finish.
Responsibilities
• Lead crews on biohazard remediation and specialty cleanup projects
• Work alongside technicians while directing and managing the job
• Review project scopes and develop an efficient plan for completing the work
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, property managers, law enforcement, and other customers
• Train and mentor technicians
• Ensure proper safety procedures, PPE, and company standards are followed
• Make decisions and solve problems when unexpected situations arise
• Document projects with photos, job notes, and our CRM
• Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and specialized equipment
• Assist with keeping vehicles, equipment, inventory, and the warehouse organized
What We're Looking For
• Previous leadership, crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience
• Strong work ethic and excellent reliability
• Ability to lead by example and work alongside the crew
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools and equipment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work without constant supervision
• Calm under pressure and capable of making decisions in the field
• Compassionate and professional when working with clients experiencing difficult situations
Experience in restoration, biohazard remediation, construction, demolition, property maintenance, moving, military, fire/EMS, law enforcement, or similar hands-on industries is preferred, but we will provide industry-specific training to the right person.
Requirements
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record, and 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Comfortable wearing respirators and full PPE
• Comfortable working around blood, bodily fluids, decomposition, odors, insects, rodents, drug paraphernalia, and other biohazards
• Reliable smartphone and basic technology skills
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs
Bio-One is a 24/7/365 emergency response company. Our normal work is generally during daytime hours Monday-Friday, but jobs can occasionally start early, run late, or require emergency response.
