Our client, Data & Integration is seeking a Application Programmer III to join their team. As a Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Data Engineering/Integration organization supporting ETL and data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Application Programmer III
Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week) - Jersey City, NJ (525 Washington) or Plano, TX (TX2-982-03-08 - 496.93). Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week.
Pay Range: $65-$67/hr
What's the Job?
Develop complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, including data mapping to ingest data from disparate sources such as flat files, RDBMS, Hive, and REST APIs.
Create and maintain Unix scripting to support ETL execution and operational workflows.
Perform performance tuning for targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries to improve reliability and efficiency.
Develop test cases and execute unit testing to validate ETL logic and data transformations.
Coordinate with distributed teams and provide regular task status updates to management.
What's Needed?
Technically strong in Informatica PowerCenter, including ETL development and mapping design.
Strong performance tuning skills for targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries.
Solid understanding of PL/SQL (functions) and the ability to write complex SQLs, including creating and exposing views/materialized views.
Strong Unix commands and scripting experience.
Good MuleSoft integration skills, with MuleSoft tools proficiency desired.
