CLEANING ASSOCIATE - WEEKENDS OR FULL-TIME (SEASONAL)
Event Party Rentals – Escondido, CA
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. This is a Seasonal position with opportunity for Full-Time. Career Advancement and Pay Increases with Performance.
Event Party Rentals is looking for dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Cleaning Associate to join our team. We provide rental equipment and setup services for weddings, parties, corporate events, and special events throughout San Diego County.
Team members work together in the warehouse, load and offload trucks, clean and organize rental products, make deliveries and pickups, and assist with event setup and breakdown. This person will be supporting the Linen, Kitchen and Furniture departments.
All shifts begin and/or end at our Escondido warehouse. This is a fast-paced environment and work is required to be done quickly with a high degree of attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
LINENS
• Count, sort, and organize linens to prepare for laundry.
• Inspect linens for damage or missing items
• Iron, Fold, and Wrap/Hang Table linens, Napkins and Draping
• Wash and clean other items as needed.
• Maintain communication with the operations team to know how to identify and select linens.
KITCHEN
• Count, sort, and organize dirty dishes prior to dishwashing. Identify damaged or missing items.
• Clean, dry, and polish all dishes using a commercial dishwasher. Dishwashing experienced required.
• Wrap and Re-stock all clean tableware.
• Keep the kitchen work area clean and organized including discarding of trash.
• Pull, stage, count, and organize Tableware event orders
• Maintain communication with the operations team to know how to identify and select Tableware.
FURNITURE CLEANING
• Inspect furniture and event products for damage or missing items
• Clean and maintain soft furniture, tables, chairs, dance floors, bars, and other rental products
• Be able to unstack and stack chairs
• Prepare furniture for outgoing rental orders
JANITORIAL
• Clean and maintain bathrooms
SCHEDULE
Schedules vary based on event and business needs. Weekends are required. We are estimating between 30-40 hrs / per week. This is currently for a seasonal position. A full-time position may be offered after completion of a probationary period.
• Saturday and Sunday availability is required
• Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm. Hours may be reduced to 6 hr shifts depending on workload.
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid and Legal working documentation required including Social Security card or Green Card
• English is required. Spanish Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Must be comfortable performing warehouse and physical labor
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move 25+ lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from our Escondido warehouse is required
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must be team-oriented and willing to assist coworkers across driving, warehouse, loading/offloading, and event duties
• Must maintain a professional, respectful, and positive team mentality
