If you like working outside, love farm animals, and don't mind getting dirty, hot, cold or wet, this job might be for you.
We're looking for someone to help our animal keepers care for the animals: cleaning pastures, stalls and habitats, feeding and watering when needed, and repairing whatever the animals manage to break.
You will never be bored at the Farm. There is always something to do and no two days are alike.
We're open to the public, so guests may sometimes come to you with questions about the Farm or the animals.
What we need from you:
- Physically fit and able to lift at least 80 lbs
- Comfortable using hand and power tools for repairs and fencing
- Tractor experience a big plus
- Team player who follows instructions well
- Hard-working, dependable, and a good communicator
- Reliable transportation
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours a week, 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch. Includes one weekend day.
