Transport participants to appointments as needed in company vehicles and safely assist each participant via wheelchair or walker as appropriate. The transporter also takes notes as needed during appointments to medical providers or physical therapy and ensures that all appropriate paperwork regarding medications is available prior to transporting participants to and attending medical appointments. The Transporter communicates and works directly with the nursing department and CMA Administrator.
Knowledge of preparation of records, reports, etc. plus one year previous clerical/administrative experience is preferred. Certified Medication Aide certification is preferred or open to becoming CMA.
Must have valid NM driver's license and clear driving history as determined by auto insurance carrier; negative drug screen, including cannabis; negative TB test. CPR certification is also required.
