We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct supervisory visits and provide clinical oversight for home care services in accordance with Colorado state regulations.
Position Summary
The RN Supervisor is responsible for conducting supervisory visits in clients’ homes, ensuring quality care delivery, supporting caregivers, and maintaining compliance with Colorado home care regulations and agency policies. This is a field-based position with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial and ongoing supervisory visits in client homes
Perform client assessments and develop/update care plans as needed
Ensure caregivers are following the plan of care and agency protocols
Provide clinical guidance, training, and support to home care staff
Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Communicate with clients, families, and agency leadership regarding care concerns
Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
Ensure services meet Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) standards
Qualifications
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience (home health or supervisory experience preferred)
Knowledge of Colorado home care regulations
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to travel within assigned service areas
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in home health, private duty, or community-based nursing
Supervisory or case management experience
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
