Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Pay: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour

We are looking to fill the following specific schedules. Please indicate your availability when applying:
* Weekday Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
* Weekend Block Shift (40 Hours): Saturday 6:00 AM – Sunday 10:00 PM (Includes Saturday night 10:00 PM – Sunday 6:00 AM shift)
What You Will Do
* Daily Living Support: Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing) and help with meal preparation and cooking.
* Community Engagement: Companion clients during social outings, recreational activities, and community events to promote connection.
* Health & Wellness: Administer prescribed medications accurately, monitor general health conditions, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
* Specialized Care: Provide tailored, compassionate support for individuals with autism or dementia.
* Advocacy & Documentation: Advocate for resident rights, promote independent choice, maintain accurate progress records, and communicate updates to families and healthcare providers.
What We Are Looking For
* Heart for Caregiving: A strong desire to build rapport and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
* Experience (Preferred but not required): Background in home community care, social work, assisted living, or nursing homes is highly valued.
* Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with medication administration protocols, dementia care practices, and resident rights is a major plus.
* Key Skills: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and teamwork.
